Dealer Trade Driver

Knight Group is seeking a dependable Dealer Trade Driver to transport vehicles between our Elk Grove dealerships and other dealership locations. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in driving safely, caring for vehicles, and providing professional service.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick up and deliver vehicles for dealer trades.

• Inspect vehicles at pickup and delivery and promptly report damage or concerns.

• Verify vehicle information, keys, and required paperwork.

• Coordinate trip details and delivery updates with dealership management.

• Follow traffic laws and dealership safety procedures.

• Accurately record all hours worked and submit receipts for approved business expenses.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company insurance requirements.

• Dependable, punctual, and attentive to detail.

• Comfortable driving different vehicle makes and models, including highway and longer-distance trips.

• Able to follow directions, use navigation tools, and communicate professionally.

• Previous dealership or professional driving experience is helpful.

Compensation

• $25.00 per hour, plus applicable overtime.

• Reimbursement of reasonable and necessary business expenses under company procedures.

• Potential bonus opportunities at management’s discretion; bonuses are not guaranteed.
